Blessing of Palms, Procession, Sung Mass

On this Sunday (Palm Sunday) we start our service with the Blessing of palms (palms which, after the service, you are welcome to take home) and a procession around the church, remembering and celebrating Jesus' solemn entry to Jerusalem as he begins his Passion.

Sung Mass (Eucharist) - A solemn, sung service of prayers, Bible readings, and Holy Communion. "High church" and "Anglo-Catholic" in style. We sing traditional hymns accompanied by our organ; the choir sings some parts of the Mass. Incense is used and the Priest is assisted by various servers.

The service last for 50 mins. Printed Orders of Service and hymn books are available. During the first part of the service we offer activities for children in the Hall.

The Mass is always offered for various intentions. Feel free to ask the Priest to offer it for you or for your loved ones, whether living or departed.

Sunday Mass is followed by tea, coffee, and biscuits in the Hall. All are welcome.
